Baby came into our family a cute bundle of fur,she was scared of nothing and cheeky as an imp,she followed me everywhere and would run to greet me when I got in from work,she was such fun and the love I had for her was very special,unlike my other cats Baby never seemed to grow and when she stopped eating I took her to the vets,they did test's and broke the terrible news,Baby had F.I.P an illness which I had never heard of and had no cure,I was beside myself,one in fifty thousand chance they told me,two weeks later and she was dead,it broke our hearts and we missed her terribly,while still crying for the loss of Baby on the 2nd of may we lost our only son Zachary to a motor bike accident on the 19th may 08 then three months later my other cat Clover was diagnosed with the same illness,life is so cruel and I have been forever put off getting anymore cat's. I miss you Baby xxx
Precious Love
The agony is so great...
and yet I will stand it.
Had I not loved so very much...
I would not hurt so much.
But God knows I would not want to diminish
that precious love...
By one fraction of an ounce.
I will hurt...
And I will be grateful for that hurt
For it bears witness to the depth of my love.

i know this may sound silly, and im not particuarly religious but i believe for whatever reason those kittens were sent to you for a purpose. they were ill and in need of a special person to love and care for them and that is why you were chosen, i think its fate. i would like to think that our dog jack came to be with us as we were the ones who would love him the most and care for him the best. we felt totally lost and heartbroken when jack our dog of ten years, died two years ago, but as time passes we have learnt to love again and now have two more beautiful dogs mitch and smudge to keep suzi company. they will never ever replace jack, we would not want them to but we have realised that there are a lot of cruel people in this world and all the unwanted, unloved animals need homes. you gave these 2 kittens a home because you cared. i hope eventually that you will be able to open your heart and let some other animal in that needs you. rest in peace to all you have lost and take care ~X~
